With the evenings getting lighter, March is the perfect time to get out and see some great performances. Here’s our top five shows to see in Sheffield this March:

Billy Ocean – 1 March, Sheffield City Hall

We have been excited about this gig since it was announced. The opening night of the tour by this musical legend who also comes across as one of the nicest and most laid back guys in the music industry. Expecting all the classic hits including this, our favourite 80s classic. For further information and to book visit www.sheffieldcityhall.co.uk.

And Then There Were None – 6 to 9 March, Sheffield University Drama Studio

Fans of classic British crime drama will not want to miss this adaption of Agatha Christie’s tale performed by one of the city’s most talented student theatre companies. Witness the tension in the theatre escalate as the characters realise the killer is not only among them but is preparing to strike again and again. This new musical, featuring songs from Sheffield’s Mercury prize nominated Richard Hawley, promises to take the audience into the hearts and home of the people of Park Hill, from the early days to the present.
