The Importance of Being Earnest – 13 July, Library Theatre

Yes it’s another show on 13 July, but Oscar Wilde would be disappointed if you didn’t “resist everything except temptation” and miss this one chance to see Butter Side Up Theatre Company perform his classic farcical comedy. Tramlines – 19 to 20 July, Hillsborough Park

We can’t do a recommendation of shows to see in July without mentioning Sheffield’s annual music and comedy festival. Although most people will be there for the music, we highly recommend checking out The Leadmill Comedy Tent, which is welcoming amongst its line-up the hilarious Reginald D Hunter, Phil Jupitus and Shappi Korsandi to the stage.
